I would prefer to use my current Belkin wireless usb adapters for when I install LM 19 Xfce on the other pc. I ended up having to re-install of LM 19 Xfce just to get rid of Wine, so I do not consider Wine an option. Is that correct? I tried installing Wine, but on my LM Xfce pc, there were error codes, the top of each page was cut off so that I was not able to minimize, maximize or close out a page, some programs would not open. My other two pcs are in two different areas and if I install LM 19 Xfce on one other (I plan to keep Win 7 on one pc for the software that I cannot find a suitable match for in Linux), I would not be able to connect to the internet with these same adapters and software. These devices are probably close to ten years old, have always worked great, no issues whatsoever.īelkin F7D1101 USB Adapter - External - USB 2.0 - Ieee 802.11N by Belkin For my other two pcs, still Windows 7, they are connected to the internet with Belkin Wireless USB Adapter and software. I have three Windows 7 pcs, one now has Linux Mint Xfce installed exclusively and is connected to my router/modem via ethernet cable.
